Peer Reviewer Guidelines

Peer review is the cornerstone of scientific integrity. We thank our reviewers for their vital role in maintaining the high standards of SCIRJ and SRJADT. These guidelines are designed to help you conduct a thorough, fair, and constructive evaluation in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards.

1. Ethical Obligations of Reviewers

  • Confidentiality: Manuscripts are confidential documents. Do not share, discuss, or use the data from an unpublished manuscript for your own purposes.
  • Conflict of Interest: If you have a personal or professional connection with the authors or the research that could bias your judgment, please notify the Editor and recuse yourself.
  • Objectivity: Reviews must be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is strictly prohibited.
  • Anonymity: As we follow a Double-Blind process, do not attempt to identify authors or sign your review comments.

2. Manuscript Evaluation Criteria

Please evaluate the manuscript based on the following key parameters:

  • Conclusion: Do the findings support the conclusions drawn? Is the significance of the work clear?
  • Category What to Check
Originality Does the paper add new knowledge or insights to the field? Is it free of plagiarism?
Methodology Is the research design sound? Are the methods used appropriate and reproducible?
Data Analysis Are the results presented clearly? Are the statistical analyses (if any) correct?
References Are citations relevant and up-to-date? Are DOI links included for modern sources?

    3. Writing the Review Report

Your report should be submitted through the OJS portal and include:

    1. Summary: A brief overview of the paper’s goal and main findings.
    2. Major Comments: Significant flaws in methodology, logic, or data that must be addressed.
    3. Minor Comments: Typographical errors, formatting issues, or minor suggestions for clarity.
    4. Recommendation: Select one: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.

    Review Timeline

We kindly request reviewers to complete their evaluation within 14 days. If you require more time, please inform the Editorial Office immediately at editor@scirj.org.
