2. How We Use Your Data

In alignment with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards, your data is used for:

  • Editorial Management: Processing submissions and managing the double-blind peer-review cycle.
  • Dissemination: Including author names and affiliations in published research, monographs, and theses.
  • Indexing: Submitting metadata to CrossRef (for DOIs), Google Scholar, and international databases like Scopus.
  • Communication: Sending updates regarding your manuscript status or calls for papers.

3. Data Retention & Peer Review Confidentiality

SciRJ maintains the confidentiality of the peer-review process. Reviewer identities are never disclosed to authors or third parties. Manuscript data is retained as part of the permanent scientific record to ensure the integrity of the published work.

4. GDPR Rights for European Audience

Under GDPR, users from the European Union have the following rights:

Right to Access Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Right to Rectification Correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
Right to Erasure Request data removal (unless required for scientific record integrity).

5. Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. Data is only shared with service providers essential to scholarly publishing, such as CrossRef (for DOI registration) and Turnitin/iThenticate/PlagiarismDetector (for plagiarism screening).
