Scirj Volume VIII, Issue X, October 2020 Edition ISSN: 2201-2796 S.M Arnold Abstract: School children are a captive population, where positive practices can be cultured in them easily. If the school children are made knowledgeable about the disease and the control methods available the students tend to keep their school and domestic environment clean and dengue free. They act as messengers to carry the message of dengue prevention to the community, thereby actively participate in dengue control and prevention. This research was conducted with the aim of assessing the effect of the School based dengue control programme facilitated with awareness and training in improving the dengue control activities of school children.
