The Effect of Role Conflict and Emotional Fatigue on Organizational Commitment through Job Satisfaction (Study on Madrasah Aliyah Teachers in Mataram)

Abstract: This study examined the influence of Role Conflict, Emotional Fatigue, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment on Teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Mataram. Specifically the purpose of this study was to determine the significance of the influence of Role Conflict and Emotional Fatigue on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment. The respondents used in this study were all teachers who taught in State Islamic Senior High Schools (MAN 1 and MAN 2) Mataram as many as 133 teachers. This study uses analysis of structural equation models (SEM analysis) with the application of SmartPLS. The results showed that Role Conflict and Emotional Fatigue had a significant effect on Job Satisfaction, Emotional Fatigue had a significant effect on Organizational Commitment, Role Conflict and Job Satisfaction had no significant effect on Organizational Commitment. Indirectly Job Satisfaction serves as an intermediary variable between Role Conflict and Emotional Fatigue to Organizational Commitment to Teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Mataram.
