Abstract: This study was executed with a view to finding out the effect of the overload of the Minimum Standards Curriculum for Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) on students learning activities and on their performance in the Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) in the south-south geo-political zone of the country. Three research questions and three hypothesis were generated to guide the study.
