Scirj Volume VIII, Issue IV, April 2020 Edition ISSN: 2201-2796 Egahi M., Agbata B.C., Ogwuche O.I., Soomiyol M. C Abstract: In this paper, we describe vividly the extended complex plane and show how stereographic projection is used to map bijectively points of the extended complex plane to the Riemann Sphere. The chordal metric between points on the sphere is exhaustively treated with particular interest on the image of sums of corresponding points in the plane and on the sphere.
