Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Articles

1. Scope and Objective

The Original Research Articles section of SCIRJ is dedicated to the publication of high-quality, unpublished research that provides new insights, experimental results, or theoretical developments across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including Science, Technology, Art, Management, and allied fields.

The primary objective is to disseminate original findings that contribute significantly to the global scientific community and the educational fraternity.

2. Policy of Originality and Plagiarism

  • Authenticity: All manuscripts submitted to this section must contain original material. The work must not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  • Plagiarism Check: SCIRJ maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding plagiarism. Every submitted article undergoes a rigorous internal plagiarism check using advanced software tools. Any form of academic dishonesty will result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript.

  • Verification: Authors may be requested to provide supporting documentation, such as raw data or originality reports, to verify the authenticity of their research.

3. Peer Review Process

To maintain the highest quality standards, the Original Research Articles section follows a structured peer-review process:

  • Initial Screening: Manuscripts are first checked for relevance, formatting, and originality by the Editorial Office.

  • Expert Review: Once cleared, the paper is sent to a reviewer panel comprising at least three experts in the relevant field.

  • Review Timeline: The review process typically takes approximately 15-45 working days.

  • Final Decision: The final decision on acceptance, revision, or rejection rests with the Editorial Board, based on the constructive feedback provided by the reviewers.

4. Article Structure and Submission Requirements

Authors must adhere to the following structural requirements for original research:

  • Formatting: Manuscripts must be submitted in .doc or .docx format. Authors are encouraged to use the SCIRJ template (Single Column for complex tables/figures or Double Column for standard text).

  • Key Components: An original research article should generally include:

    • Title: Concise and informative.

    • Abstract: A summary of the research (typically 100–300 words).

    • Keywords: 4–6 keywords for indexing.

    • Introduction: Background, problem statement, and objectives.

    • Methodology: Detailed description of the research design and data collection.

    • Results and Discussion: Logical analysis and interpretation of findings.

    • Conclusion: Summary of contributions and suggestions for future research.

    • References: Citations must follow international scholarly norms.

5. Open Access and Copyright

  • Open Access: All original research articles are published under an Open Access model, ensuring they are immediately and freely available to the global public.

  • Licensing: Articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.

  • Copyright: Authors retain the copyright to their work while granting SCIRJ the right of first publication. This allows the work to be shared and cited without restriction, provided the original author is credited.

6. Indexing and Archiving

Accepted original research articles are assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) via CrossRef and are indexed in major databases, including Google Scholar, Scribd, Academia.edu, and the National Library of Australia, ensuring long-term visibility and citation tracking.

7. Publication Fees

As an open-access journal, SCIRJ charges a nominal publication fee to cover the costs of the peer-review process, digital hosting, DOI assignment, and international indexing. Detailed fee structures are available on the "Publication Fee" page of the website.
